This session focused first on what a Quaker testimony is and how it differs from a creed that other religions have. Then we changed the focus to the Testimony of Integrity, which is considered to be the original testimony.  Early Quakers placed a lot of emphasis on telling the truth always, being willing to go to prison for not swearing an oath (which implied that they weren't always telling the truth.) They called themselves Publishers of the Truth and would ask each other, "how has truth prospered in you?"  This led to an emphasis on honesty, which served them well in their businesses, but they didn't do it to do well, they did it because they were trying to do the right thing.
